Cardiff Food Tasting Tour

Wales’ Capital of Cardiff is known for its thriving food scene, and on this tour you will have a chance to experience this for yourself during our 4 hour walking tour of the city. Historical South Wales

In Wales, history is everywhere! This enlightening week-long visit takes you to a whole host of fascinating historical landmarks in South Wales.  Parts of this tour are led by local, informative guides meaning you have the opportunity to learn absolutely everything about the area from the experts! In Monmouth and the surrounding area, your guide will show you Monnow Bridge; a rare mediaeval fortified river bridge, Shire Hall and Tŷ Ebbw Fach - the impressive Guardian Six Bells.  The tour visits many many more sights of historical interest including one of the most important settlements in the Roman Empire, the most complete amphitheatre in Britain, the fortress baths and the only Roman Legionary barracks still on view anywhere in Europe.  Wales has an unprecedented amount of castles! Mines and Mountains

Travel through the South Wales Valleys and the Brecon Beacons National Park on this day trip.   Start the day at the ‘Big Pit’ National Mining Museum of Wales for a visit to a famous Welsh coal mine and its award-winning underground tour. The experience of descending into the depths of this mine attract people from all around the world to visit and wonder at the life of a Welsh coal miner. Travelling a short distance we enter the Brecon Beacons National Park, a landscape once shaped by glaciers but now recognisable by its rolling green hills, sandstone peaks, high mountain lakes and cascading waterfalls. Travel onto the old market town of Brecon full of cosy little streets with plenty of shops, boutiques and cafés for lunch. Be sure to spend some time at the fine Cathedral here too. Our final stop is the National Park Visitors Centre to discover why the Brecon Beacons is so special.
