Colourful Ceredigion

Ceredigion is located in the real heart of Wales. Visit the bustling university town of Aberystwyth, colourful Aberaeron for some great cuisine just down the coast, the mystical village of Tregaron the beautiful waterfalls at Devil's bridge and the town of Cardigan - unrivalled for its wildlife spotting opportunities and impressive castle ruins.  Travel your way then up the Cambria Mountains for spectacular views. Mines and Mountains

Travel through the South Wales Valleys and the Brecon Beacons National Park on this day trip.   Start the day at the ‘Big Pit’ National Mining Museum of Wales for a visit to a famous Welsh coal mine and its award-winning underground tour. The experience of descending into the depths of this mine attract people from all around the world to visit and wonder at the life of a Welsh coal miner. Travelling a short distance we enter the Brecon Beacons National Park, a landscape once shaped by glaciers but now recognisable by its rolling green hills, sandstone peaks, high mountain lakes and cascading waterfalls. Travel onto the old market town of Brecon full of cosy little streets with plenty of shops, boutiques and cafés for lunch. Be sure to spend some time at the fine Cathedral here too. Our final stop is the National Park Visitors Centre to discover why the Brecon Beacons is so special.
