Looking for more than a taster? Our Food and Drink safari offers a two course meal as well as tastings of Welsh signature foods, ethnic and continental foods. You will experience locally produced food as well as food markets and festivals.
During the tour you will be guided around the city centre and Cardiff Bay, passing beautiful parks and key landmarks including Cardiff Castle, the Principality Stadium ‘the home of Welsh rugby’, the National Assembly of Wales - Senedd and the Millennium Centre.
You will learn about different kinds of cuisine from sophisticated dining to traditional pubs and street food. The tour also allows you to get to know Cardiff better.
On the menu you will find Welsh beers/cider, a range of tastings including laverbread, seasonal specials, Welsh cheeses and more. We also discover the wide variety of cafes, pubs, restaurants, shops and boutiques so that you can plan your visit to include the best food & drink, sightseeing & shopping!

Meet your group and guide at Cardiff Castle a little before 10:15am for a 10.30am start, and get ready for a day filled with food and fun. Your 5-hour experience starts off with a walking food-and-drink tour of Wales’ capital city. Stop by restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, and other eateries to learn about where locals like to go and what foods are their favorites. At some of the stops, meet chefs and food producers that will give you a lay of the land.
Afterwards, hop aboard a waterbus and ride across the Cardiff Bay. Sample foods along this experience, and you have the opportunity to enjoy a 3-course meal. Some foods and drinks you’ll taste include Welch cheese, laverbread, and a Spanish/Welsh lager.
See sights the city such as Wales Millennium Center, Principality Stadium, and Cardiff Castle, the medieval castle built on the remains of Norman and Roman ruins.
